OPEC expects the commercial fleet to increase from 275 million in 2024 to almost 640 million in 2050
A large part of this increase is in the non-OECD, where the commercial fleet is set to expand by more than 290 million vehicles over the forecast period
During this period, OPEC expects India to add 74.3 million commercial vehicles, and China to add 51.7 million. Number of commercial vehicles in India are expected to be higher than in China after 2045
