Tata Power and DGPC sign Commercial Agreements for 1,125 MW Hydroelectric Power Project in Bhutan

The Tata Power Company Limited (Tata Power) has announced the signing of Commercial Agreements with Druk Green Power Corporation Limited (DGPC) for the implementation of the 1,125 MW Dorjilung project. The Project will be implemented through a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), with DGPC and Tata Power holding equity shares of 60% and 40%, respectively
CEA`s Master Plan for Evacuation of Power from Hydroelectric Plants in the Brahmaputra Basin

Cabinet approves 700 MW Tato-II Hydro Electric Project

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved investment of Rs. 8,146.21 crore for construction of Tato-II Hydro Electric Project (HEP) in Shi Yomi District of Arunachal Pradesh. The estimated completion period for the project is 72 months

Modified scheme of Budgetary Support for Enabling Infrastructure for Hydro Projects

The Union Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Power for modification of the scheme of budgetary support for the cost of Enabling Infrastructure for Hydro Electric Projects (HEP) with a total outlay of Rs.12,461 crore. The scheme would be implemented from FY 2024-25 to FY 2031-32
